Plugging away at the Promo Video

In the last few weeks, I have updated Suspicious Brew and squashed all the typos and grammar issues and ordered some new prints to play test with and see how they look. I found a mistake shortly after opening the box (as happens), but it looks amazeballs. The new Martyr track and rules around that have been a phenomenal addition to the game. Also, a bunch of folks went to the pub “My Father’s Place” in Portland, Oregon (their logo looks like the state of Washington, but that is just an aside), and two different game groups, all but one of whom had never played the game, tested out the game.

What I did this evening is finish up the rough draft of the promo video for the game. I would love to have some feedback from all of you who are into collaboration. The primary reason Suspicious Brew was so enthusiastically received last night is because a great many folks have touched this game with a little of their creative thoughts and energy. I would like to continue to invite that into my creative process because it brings me joy and cultivated greater quality in the work I produce. So, it’s rough, especially the hand writing i wrote on the initial storyboard images (I was trying to save labor by screenwriting on the storyboard.

Let me know what you think of the narrative flow. if you can think of better music choices or have suggestions around that business. perceived comic timing. pacing. in what ways does it capture, when does it lag. If you have played the game, does it convey what is about to happen to your face as you play Suspicious Brew?

Feedback at this stage of film development is best given by folks who are already 100% bought in. if you are not there, know I still love your support and appreciate you, and your feedback will be more useful after filming and the first polished edit comes out - when you feel that 100% :) :)

Cheers all, and thank you for being you!!
